AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Nailsea Chamber of Trade and Commerce is a
group of local business people operating in Nailsea who meet to
discuss issues affecting Nailsea trade.
In particular:-

We aim to raise the profile of Nailsea as a good
place to shop, visit or setup business.

We arrange social events for members.

We aim to inform local businesses about events
and oportunities within the town.

We hold regular formal meetings at which we
discuss issues affecting Nailsea, with a view to taking approriate
action.

Welcome to the Nailsea
Chamber of Trade & Commerce
The Nailsea Chamber of Trade and Commerce exists to promote the interest of
members in trade and industry locally and works with other trade
bodies and local authorities to promote Nailsea as 'a good place to
do business'.
The Chamber is thriving, attracting new members
from many different business sectors. The Chamber is keen to attract
enthusiastic members who are not only keen to promote their own
businesses but are keen to help promote Nailsea. The Chamber
provides networking opportunities and through sister organisations
business support and advice (see links page)

Action for Market
Towns - Nailsea Chamber of Trade and
Commerce is working with AMT to produce a report
which will suggest ways to improve the shopping
experience in Nailsea. As a part of that
project we have been asked to distribute two
surveys, one for businesses to complete and one for
shoppers and visitors to complete. If you have

Why do business in Nailsea?
Nailsea is a thriving country town which nestles in beautiful North
Somerset countryside, minutes from both the Bristol Channel and the
Mendip Hills. Eight miles to the south of Bristol, Nailsea has good
links to the M5, Bristol Airport and to the other towns and villages in North
Somerset. Nailsea has a population of around 18,000 and is close to
Clevedon and Portishead, both with populations of around 23,000
each.
Nailsea's pleasant shopping centre is one of the best in the
district with a good range of shops and plenty of free car parking,
making Nailsea a popular place to shop. We have excellent
primary and secondary schools, achieving outstanding results.
We generally have a well educated population, which provides an
excellent talent pool for recruitment.
The town has several
thriving industrial estates with a wide range of businesses. Nailsea, as the district in general, has a large number of
small, home based, businesses. With a population of over
70,000 people within a 15 minutes or so drive, a thriving business
community and excellent links to Bristol, one of Britain's
leading cities, Nailsea is a 'good place to do business.....'
